PIRC – Policy Innovation Research Center had a productive meeting with the African Center For Early Childhood Development (AfC-ECD) to explore collaboration opportunities for evidence generation on early childhood development and child poverty in Ethiopia.
hashtag#AfC_ECD is committed to improving early childhood outcomes through evidence-based programs, capacity building for caregivers and educators, and policy-relevant interventions.
During the meeting, joint committees were formed on both sides to design the next steps and ensure follow-up for effective collaboration. Our discussion focused on strengthening monitoring and evaluation frameworks, supporting data-driven program design, and generating policy-relevant insights.
This engagement reflects PIRC’s mission to advance rigorous impact evaluation and evidence-based policymaking, and we look forward to working together to translate research and learning into lasting impact for Ethiopia’s youngest learners.
